Considering Wokingham hotels, Twyford hotels or a Windsor Hotel?
Then please consider St. Swithins Cottage!
I have been round the Twyford hotels, the Wokingham hotels and I have even had the pleasure of staying in an exorbitantly expensive Windsor hotel. I see these hotels as soulless places costing too much money, especially now when money is so tight, where you more often than not feel like a stranger. You will never be a stranger in St. Swithins Cottage! Even in the dead of night St. Swithins Cottage echoes an unparalleled radiance which makes you feel at home. You just can't get that from hotels! At St. Swithins Cottage it is our prime endeavour to offer you a totally different and unique experience compared to that of these modern day drab hotels. Our model is more akin to the French “Gîtes” concept allowing you to feel at home as opposed to the impersonal nature of just your room in a Windsor hotel. So do you want to stay in the dreary Wokingham hotels or would you prefer to have the freedom of your very own Scottish “Hunting Lodge” which is completely alien to the offerings of the Twyford hotels? A truly personal service is at the top of our agenda – nothing is too difficult! So for example everything from pick-up / drop-off from / to Heathrow for individuals or small Executive groups is readily available. | 07/09/09 This Saturday just gone, 5th September 2009, was a big day for the cottage as it has been many years since a real fire roared in the oldest part of the house. Owner, Dean Milroy, had planned for this since 2004 but as with all major restoration projects it takes time to fully achieve one’s objectives as there were many phases to this plan. more | 08/03/09 St. Swithins Cottage is the perfect location to stay for any and/or all 4 of these wonderfully different and exciting events. Why? Simple - proximity to the Train Stations! more | 05/12/08 more | 02/12/08 more |
